Looking to start an underground band? Don't make a move until you've read this book!

So you KNOW you are destined to rock... well you're in luck -- all you need is this book! (Please note musical talent, bandmates, a car for touring, and an uncle who owns a record label might also help.) An original blend of nonfiction how-to's about all things DIY rock created by an indie-circuit veteran with a knack for hysterical snark, PUNK ROCK ETIQUETTE teaches you everything from how to pick your bandmates and choose a name (Never deliberately misspell your band's name. C how lame it lookz?), to detailed guides on screenprinting your own merch, and interviews and advice from studio owners about the do's and don'ts of recording. PUNK ROCK ETIQUETTE is an unfiltered peek backstage that will appeal to aspiring musicians and anyone who's curious about what goes on in the hours between the last chord and the next big show.

Ebook Punk Rock Etiquette: The Ultimate How-to Guide for DIY, Punk, Indie, and Underground Bands read Online! About twice a month, I have a dream that I'm in my house and I discover a fish tank. It's dingy, overgrown with algae, and FULL of fish. They're swimming around and seem to be okay in the murky water, but I feel so horrible. I completely forgot that I had a fish tank. Those little guys must have been breeding like crazy just so they'd have something to eat.

Oh. Copy... PASTE. Travis Nichols is a writer, illustrator, Texan, and cartoonist living in San Francisco. His comics appeared in the late, great Nickelodeon Magazine (RIP). One of his comics was listed in the Best American Comics 2006 anthology. He is the author and illustrator of Matthew Meets the Man, The Monster Doodle Book, as well as Punk Rock Etiquette: The Ultimate How-To Guide for DIY, Punk, Indie, and Underground Bands, which was awarded a Blue Ribbon by the Bulletin for the Center for Children's Books and was nominated by YALSA as one of the 2009 Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults. Travis contributes comics to the ongoing SpongeBob SquarePants comic book, and he is the author of (and one of the illustrators for) the Uglydoll graphic novel series. He has played in more than a dozen bands you've probably never heard of (how's THAT for indie cred?!), and he enjoys meteorites and eating watermelon over the sink.
